Studio DV™ is a simple drag and drop video editing program. It's not difficult to learn to use, and you'll probably have the most fun with it if you just sit down and start playing with some video that's not important. There are some video clips that come with the software that are perfect for that. This document can help you to understand some basic concepts that will make your time with the software more productive. If the first project you are working on is important, make sure you read this whole document before you even begin shooting. Although Studio DV™ is not hard to learn to use, digital video is not at all "simple". If you put some forethought into a project it will come out looking better and it is far less likely that something will go catastrophically wrong. |
